We’re hiring: Wedding and Event Sales Manager

Queen and Whippet Catering are seeking a motivated and dynamic Wedding and Event Manager to join our Sales team at a dynamic phase of growth and progress.

Role responsibility:

  • Management of sales pipeline and client relationship from enquiry up to (but not including) event day. Delivering an exceptional client experience throughout.
  • Quoting, tendering & contracting
  • Project planning, management, and event logistics with handover to the on-site team
  • Implementing and managing systems
  • Liaising between clients and chefs regarding menus
  • Communicating with suppliers and stakeholders
  • Collaborating with Directors and the Business Development Manager to drive sales, and with the sales admin team to coordinate
  • Managing post-event reporting 

Skills and experience required:

  •  5+ years experience in catering operations, wedding planning and/or corporate events
  • Strong sales background and proven track record of results
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a great eye for detail
  • CRM / project management systems
  • Experience with quotes, invoicing, and budgeting. Knowledge of online accounting software
  • Ability to negotiate favourable terms and confidently discuss financials
  • A proven, polished communicator with great customer liaison skills
  • Confidence to contribute ideas, deal with ambiguity and manage multiple projects independently

 Package: 

Full time position, 40 hours per week

Home-based with occasional meetings at our Bristol premises and promotional events

Salary to £35k DOE plus performance-related bonus scheme
